Direct Trade is important to us…it's in our name! We started the Direct Trade Coffee Club to connect consumers with the finest roasters of specialty coffee who purchase coffee direct from the farmer. The purpose of our direct trade model is simple – to deliver the highest quality coffee to our customers while providing the farmer with a fair price.  We are currently shipping from three roasters.  Intelligentsia Coffee, MadCap Coffee and Barefoot Roasters.

Here is what we believe about direct trade:

1. The best way to get an exceptional cup of coffee, comes from knowing the hands that work on the farm.
2. Understanding the growers, plants, sites, sounds, smells and culture of each region, we can ensure that our coffee is not blindly accepted as fair or sustainable.
3. A commitment to frequent communication with our growers, giving each of us a voice in the bigger than business transaction of life and economies.

We believe that using the Direct Trade model we can deliver the finest coffee possible to the consumer.  That is why our roasters are 100% Direct Trade and have signed the Direct Trade Pledge.
